Facility Management Engineer

Job Description :

1- conduct and document regular facilities inspections.
2- ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes
3- supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
4- Determining facility and equipment specifications.
5- Planning and coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.
6- implement best practise process to increase efficiency.
7- calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost effectiveness
8- ensure the quality criteria are met
9- Advice on and monitor energy efficiency
10- Assure security on teh facility
11- respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures.
12- provide prompt response to requests and issues from occupants.
13- Applying the rules and regulations of the facility system
14- supervision on the service providers and raising a monthly report on the performance of the service providers
15- Maintain all the premises in neat and good working condition at all times, ensuring a safe, clean and functional enviroment.
16- Ensure problems are resolved in an efficient and timely manner
17- receive, manage and process work order requests
18- work closely with the administartion and facility manager and report to manager on job progress and issues on a daily basis.

19- Organize, coordinate and manage with the supervisor the day to day operations of the jobsite.
20- assist in budget preparation.
21- Arrange for site inspection from time to time to monitor standard of work and completion schedule
22- Maintain and operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management systems, and building repairs
23- Respond to emergencies

Job Requirements
Education / Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Bachelor degree in facilities management or engineering
HSEQ certificate / diploma is an advantage.
Minimum 7 years experience in construction and maintenance, of which 3 years must be in a supervisory position with a multinational work force.
In-depth knowledge of maintenance materials and pricing.
Strong technical background and knowledge of electrical, AC, MEP and civil works.
Experience in facility management system
Sound knowledge and experience in preparing scope of works, specifications of maintenance and modification works and contractual documents.
Good level of interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsible for the FM Team
Min experience 5-6 years in FM servicers
Electrical or mechanical engineer
Has knowledge in CAFM system
Has knowledge Health & safety
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Project management skills.
