Job Summary:
Construction accountants work in the construction industry to calculate and oversee all project finances. prepare financial statements and reports for construction projects. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations in the construction industry. Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures. Monitor construction project contracts and change orders.
Job Description:
- Control the site’s petty cash
- distribute the financial flow according to the project’s needs, and settle it with the Financial Department.
- Applying all Accounting functions for a specific site.
- Verification of bills receivables & payable.
- Handling supplier bill payments.
- Review weekly timesheets, along with the accounting group.
- Ensure that the financial claims match with the sub-contractor accountant.
- Files management & knowledge of labor payments.
- Communicate and report to the accounting supervisor for all actions taken.
Requirements:
- Bcs of Commerce, Accounting, or any related field.
- from 2 to 5 years of Experience.
- Having a site accounting background is a must.
- good command of English business language.
- Excellent in MS Office.
