- Acting as the main site responsible person for the execution of the project
- Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
- Managing, monitoring, and interpreting the site progress
- Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, and the general workforce involved in the project
- Communicating with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers, and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force
- Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on-site
- Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
- Liaising with the technical office about ordering and negotiating the price of materials
- Liaising with procurement about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials and subcontractors
- Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to the standards
Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- A construction background is a must
