General Foreman

Job Summary:

overseeing daily operations on the job site, managing construction crews, and ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and according to project specifications. The General Foreman works closely with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to coordinate tasks, maintain workflow, and address any issues that arise during the construction process.

Job Description:

  • Supervise Workforce: Manage and direct construction crews, ensuring efficient task completion.
  • Schedule and Coordination: Coordinate daily activities, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and in the right sequence.
  • Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety standards.
  • Quality Control: Monitor work quality, ensuring it meets project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Resource Management: Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly used.
  • Problem-Solving: Address on-site issues and obstacles, providing solutions to keep work on schedule.
  • Communication: Act as the main point of contact between workers and management, ensuring clear communication on site updates and project goals.
